NDARUGO AURUM LTD

Ndarugo Aurum Ltd was formed by two individuals — Joseph & Daniel — after years of hands-on experience in the quarries as workers, combined with a strong mechanical background in engines and machines.

We generated interest in both machines and stone production and started with nothing. Our first order was to supply stones at a site in Githurai, and we used that income to register the company legally. We started marketing our stones on Facebook and other platforms which started bringing in clients living in the USA and wanted to build houses back here in Kenya.

Shortly after that, our Facebook page grew so fast and that brought in interest from a Chinese company which wanted to introduce new stone cutting machines. They approached us and requested we market their machines besides our stone posts. We agreed and worked together for nearly a year. We gained so much experience and met important men and women in the quarry sector. Hanging around with some Chinese suppliers brought out an image that we never knew we would have. All of a sudden the calls became more serious, and we started speaking of machines and amounts that we never imagined would go through our hands. You know. We were just quarry people. Our faces looked exactly as the stones we sold. haha. We worked together for a year. The Chinese company name was called 361 machines. Good blue machines. Later in that same period, we were approached by a +39 contact. That is Italy you know, haha. The company name was and is still there. They are called Lecomet. We quickly got a deal from them but the game changer came in when they said we do Billboard marketing. We set up a billboard near Ndarugo Area at a place called High point. It brought High end Clients. To our surprise, we could get calls from Members of parliament, High profile business men and women, we even got a call from a Son to a retired President. This was it. It felt good, they would call the contact on the billboard and once they reached out to the Italian company, they couldn't communicate because of language barriers. The company would send them our contacts and introduce us as their agents. Imagine getting a call when you are in a small sized house and somebody says, "My name is Honourable xxx, i received your number from Italy and am interested in your stone cutting machines." That one is not common and we have always given our God all the Glory.
